Product Manager - Ghana

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Product Manager to oversee sales, marketing, subscription activity, and content inclusivity on the platform within their country. This is a long-term position where the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving StreamPrime.co.uk's progress and value generation. Due to the significance of this role, we cannot afford to gamble with this appointment—it is equal to the responsibilities and expectations of a Country Manager.

We aim to appoint Product Managers in the following selected African countries: South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Applicants are required to have firsthand experience with the StreamPrime.co.uk platform or currently be active users of our service. This is a major criterion, as we value candidates who already have knowledge of the product they are applying to manage. Applications that do not meet this requirement will be rejected immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Growth

- Develop and implement a comprehensive product roadmap aimed at boosting subscriptions and improving viewer retention.

- Identify and establish new revenue streams such as subscriptions, advertising, and content partnerships.

- Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to enhance platform differentiation and growth.

Country-Specific Platform Management

- Oversee sales, marketing strategies, subscription activity, and content inclusivity specific to the country.

- Adapt the platform’s offerings to meet the unique demands and preferences of the local market.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure StreamPrime.co.uk remains competitive and aligned with the country’s entertainment landscape.

User Experience & Platform Optimisation

- Improve content discovery, streaming quality, and platform usability to elevate customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with design and development teams to refine user interfaces and experiences.

- Introduce features that encourage extended watch times and recurring subscriptions.

Monetisation & Revenue Growth

- Design and optimise subscription models, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives to maximise revenue.

- Enhance advertising revenue through better ad placements, formats, and targeting methods.

- Develop and enhance payout structures for content creators to support sustainable monetisation.

- Strengthen affiliate and referral programs to boost user acquisition and engagement.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Leadership

- Partner with engineering, marketing, content acquisition, and operations teams to deliver impactful features.

- Define clear KPIs and metrics to track subscription growth, user engagement, and revenue performance.

- Prioritise features and allocate resources effectively to meet strategic objectives.

Salary & Benefits:

- Salary: Up-to £960 per month or £11,520 per annum.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in product management, with a preference for the streaming, entertainment, or subscription-based industries.

- Demonstrated success in launching digital products with a focus on user growth and monetisation.

- Comprehensive knowledge of OTT platforms and digital media business frameworks.

- Expertise in subscription growth strategies, retention models, and revenue optimisation.

- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional teams.

- Outstanding analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in subscription-based and ad-supported revenue models.

- Experience in affiliate marketing, referral programs, and performance-based business strategies.

- Knowledge of customer lifecycle management, churn reduction approaches, and user engagement metrics.
